I am testing streamripper on my Pi Zero W (1st edition) running the latest Raspberry Pi OS, but though I can manage to install it using apt-get install streamripper, I get the error "cannot execute" when I try to run it. I have restarted the Pi multiple times, to no avail. Everything else seems to work just fine, and prior to the installation on the Pi, I have done the same on a virtual machine running Ubuntu 22 with great success.
What could be the issue here? I am unsure whether or not streamripper is unable to execute on the Pi Zero due to the processor architecture (ARM), but due to the fact that streamripper is older than hieroglyphics, this would somewhat surprise me. Given the fact that it seems to install without warnings as well, I doubt that this is the case.
But then what could be wrong?
I really like the simplicity of streamripper, and it serves all my needs, but if there are other command line based internet radio ripping apps (guaranteed to run on a Pi Zero) out there, I am all ears.
