Does it really reboot or just switches to the login screen? Just I have a similar issue when closing the full screen camera preview (libcamera/rpicam, may be other apps cause same) doesn't matter if I use alt+F4 or close it by right mouse click on panel (yes, it is possible while camera works in full screen mode), the system suddenly switches to login screen.
