Hello! After my Windows 10 laptop crashed, I'm looking into using my Raspberry Pi 5 as a desktop replacement. I hope to go beyond my basic knowledge of Linux and Python as well, so I've a lot to learn. I cannot upgrade to Windows 11 since my laptop is over 9 years old.
I'm checking to see if I can log onto the various websites that I use regularly, like banking.
I watch an occasional movie through my desktop using my Firefox browser through Amazon Prime (both free and paid), free movies through TubiTV, and the occasional Youtube video.
I've updated Raspberry Os to newest version. I was able to watch Youtube videos. However, TubiTV would not allow me to login and Amazon had a problem with its video playback, sending me to its FAQ help center.
Can I stream movies with Pi 5 Raspberry Pi Os through a web browser Firefox? Or should I try using Kodi as a desktop app and access these sites through that application? Thank you and best regards.
Mike
