At this time of year its probably best to assume 10% of sun and 6 hours of daylight in middle of UK (it would be worse at the winter soltice).

So for 100Wh a day of demand you will require a solar array rated at 170W before allowing for electronic/battery losses.

But if your batteries are outdoor their capacity may drop through the floor and they might need a heater adding loads more to the losses.

The normal way round this is to ensure minimal demand, does it need to operate continuously? is there lower power hardware that may be more suitable? etc.
