Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Why is ImageMagick so hard to use? (Cropping JPGs in Linux)

In particular, I'd like a simple GUI-based way to crop images. So far, the only way I've been able to do this with IM is by specifying the coordinates directly (as numbers), which does work, but obviously involves a lot of trial-and-error, since there's no way to get the right numbers other than endless trial-and-error.
There is the program Gwenview that is default when KDE is installed. I have cropped many images with it (for more than a decade), especially photos taken with my smartphone from electronics, soldering, wires, etc. To focus what is important and also sort of zoom and reduce size. With 'Advanced settings' ticked, you can change HxW pixel numbers (pan and crop size). It is currently KDE6.2.x Wayland, very fast whether it is aarch64 or x86-64. But I am quite sure you need something for the 'PiXel'/RPi DE, so there must be many independent Debian programs that can do the same. I remember you needed Buster, so maybe search internet what is common on x86 Linux.
