For my prototype, I want to detect movement in a specific angle range (e.g. 3 degrees and over) in only 2 axes.
In the datasheet for the Digital Triaxial Acceleration Sensor it says "enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0°.Several special sensing functions are provided." and "detect the presence or lack of motion and if the acceleration on any axis exceeds a user-set level". It isn't clear whether you can single out 2 axes to detect movement or does it detect on all 3 axes automatically?
Could a different piece of hardware be a better choice for this?
Thanks in advance.
