As above, I've used Eyoyo 8", 11.6", & 12" monitors with my RPi, plus a 24" Samsung too. ![:)]( "Smile")
If buying new, the official 15.6" monitor, it is more than adequate running from USB power, thereby saving having another PSU plugged in to run it.![8-)]( "Cool")
If short of cash, check out the pre used monitors, just make sure it has a HDMI connection.![;)]( "Wink")
