No. The Pi 5 itself will consume less than 3A. A 5A supply is only required if you have additional high-current peripherals.correct me if I'm wrong, a Pi wants a power source which can provide 5V/5A. So, if I connect my Pi's to a weaker power source, I guess it will cost me performance.
