If you want some insider info. Some of the team (well me) wanted to do this for quite a while and seriously pitched the idea when HackSpace became part of The MagPi.
I suggested that we shouldn't be called The MagPi + HackSpace forever and that we should roll together into a big official magazine that correctly identifies a spade as a spade. I'm genuinely excited by this one. And it's looking great.
