Again I am kind of confused. Because I didn't all out everything, it seems like you assumed I missed that detail, or that I hadn't read the datasheet. I was talking simply about the bulk of the board.You've missed that they've just routed the backlight LED drive out to a 0.1" header. Spec sheet says backlight should be 19.2V at 40mA, and in the image on Tindie they've bodged that onto the 12V from the CM4IO board. Do you need backlight control, and do you have a 12V supply around?
I have worked with DSI displays that needed extensive additional circuitry even though they were "just dsi", that is why I called out the relative simplicity.
Can we move past this kind of thing?
