those very small models are very "stupid" and kind of useless though.
for me the smallest model that gave useful coding answers was qwen2.5-coder-32B, which won't run on a raspberry pi.
As an educational exercise?
According to Fido, using power point doesn't teach a dog much about C++ programming. On the other paw, one can't learn much about creating an AI by using a pretrained inference model.

The way I see it, a Raspberry Pi is sufficient for a child to create conventional computer programs using almost any programming language, but not enough to train a large language model. At the same time, there may be algorithm breakthroughs that remove the barrier between consumption and production of neural networks in the future.

Though amazing, the training of DeepSeek does not appear to be that breakthrough.
