I have several other posts trying to get help because I can not get double sided output.Why do you need a newer version? The current version should work with most if not all HP printers.

to setup your printer. The hlip-gui has never worked for me.
The hplip folks are not going to help me if I am not on the current release (last year) AND there are dozens of support libraries/packages that are NOT AVAILABLE !
