I tested two drives and both of them were recognized at the beggining from Raspberry Pi OS, now they are not recognized and I don't understand why. I don't think it is a compatibility problem if they were recognized perfectly before...you should start telling us which NVMe drive you bought.
Not every drive is compatible ...
However I tried a Samsung MZ-9L41280 128GB and an Oscoo ON900 128GB
