Yeh, sure, lets see. He wants a cable of 2 meters in length instead of the standard 1.2m meters. Right? So that is an increase of 0.8 meters in length. That will result in an extra resistance of 0.014 Ohms if the cross sectional area is 1mm³. Going up in cross sectional area will lower the resistance, going down will increase the resistance. A cross sectional area of 0.5 mm³ lets the resistance increase to 0.028 Ohm. I doubt very much that this will cause problems. My view.The problem is that longer wires have more resistance and reduce the voltage getting to the Pi.
