hi
i am looking at buying a portable monitor for my Pi 5 4GB. There are options ranging from 1080p --- 4K and everything inbetween. At the extreme the Pi would be driving 3840 x 2400 pixels, and the lowest I'm considering is 2160 x 1440 pixels.
My question is does this make any difference to general desktop performance in Raspbian or Ubuntu?
i.e. does the Pi have to "struggle a bit" rendering windows onto a 4K screen? or is the GPU equally happy with any resolution.
