Yes, I didn't want to disturb another thread with additional questions.
Unfortunately I'm not a camera specialist, so I apologise if I'm making the wrong assumptions.
I was firmly under the impression that with rpicam-vid and external trigger you always need a continuous clock,
so I didn't try it out. As you can see in the screenshot, the period duration changes, 1=1.74ms, 2=1.25ms and 3=2.24ms.
Of course I will consider the correct fps of the GS-Cam with my favourite tool GScrop from HermanSW.
I will try it out as soon as possible, thanks.
