Just asking the community if anyone has gotten a third monitor to run?
There is a solution for up to 8 displays, but it's not going to be cheap:

This is a box that gets a single HDMI signal and splits it to up to 4 HDMI displays. Your Pi will only see one display, but the external box will combine the 4 displays to form one big virtual screen. Do the same with the second HDMI on your Pi, and you have a monitor wall of 8 displays. Thats the purpose of this box.
