Hi all,
sorry for the newbie question.
I am working on my first battery powered RP2350 prototype board. The battery is a single cell Li-Ion+ battery (+BATT=3.3-4.2V), the RP2350 is powered from the battery via a PMIC (+3.3V). I need to monitor the +BATT via one of the RP2350's ADC channels (via a voltage divider to keep it below 3.3V).
Since the PMIC and RP2350 have their own startup time, there is a reasonable chance that +BATT will reach the input pin before the RP2350 is powered.
Do I need any protection (other than simple overvoltage protection) on the ADC channel to prevent damage?
Best regards,
Mike
