I downloaded VSCodium deb from here
https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/releases
and installed it with

Code:

dpkg -i codium_1.98.2.25072_arm64.deb 

Seems to work well.

Nah, I will forgo that, does seem very dodgy to me

I'm not into branding myself, but if it says this
"binary releases of VS Code without MS branding/telemetry/licensing - Releases · VSCodium/vscodium", then its a no go for me
Fair enough that there are some IDE that are built upon the VSCode interface, I rather like my own privacy and don't like more bugs
