Anything you would use a regular Pico2 for, just in a different environment.
- Hard real-time applications, that a normal OS cannot handle.
- Precise timing requirements down to 1/150 MHz.
- OS-independent data logger
- Use the M.2 slot as dev/programming environment and have an independent tiny (22mm x 30mm) Pico board
- Implement exotic interfaces that a regular PC not supports (Manchester/Miller encoded data, One-wire, I3C)
- everything that ever got implemented with PIO
- hack the world
- get to blinky
- ....
