Howdy!
Raspbian Bookworm set to X11 on a 4B in a Raspad 3. LXDE 0.10.1. New baby.
I have installed the ibus input method editor IME for Chinese CJK text input. It works fine. Except:
The dropdown menu from the system tray won’t go away. It seems to be doubled, as if the IME has two indicators or icons, one saying EN one with a keyboard. And trying to tap off to the side, the menu items stay open. Worse, selecting a menu item activates the second open dropdown menu list. So the menus stay open and just alternate. Sometimes click/tapping on the tray icon adds another menu open to the mess. This is consistent both with Bluetooth keyboard trackpad and the touchscreen.
I *think* what is happening is two IME… indicators? Controllers?… are there. But I only installed ibus, not Fcitx or anything. I do note there is a native indicator when installed, but it said nothing about adding ibus doing this. Please help stop this?
Thanks!
