I did something similar today. If you have access to another device that can read the media which you're using for storage, just edit cmdline.txt on that device to remove your edit.
In my case, I am using a microSD card. I removed it from my raspberry pi, placed it in an adapter, mounted it on my windows box, then simply edited cmdline.txt in windows. Problem solved.
