As i wrote it has to do with minecraft. I'm not an expert on any form or shape in programming, but running minecraft has been a steady part of my life since 2011, and i've been setting up servers and running them along with playing intensely. (I know...but i loooove minecraft). In these 14 years one thing has always been certain; Minecraft server or client will begin to act up when you've been playing for a while, especially servers with many players on them. I have only recently switched to linux, and since i have no clue on how to run anything in that environment, i don't know how the OS itself reacts to minecraft failures, but i know for sure that resetting the minecraft server has never been enough in a windows environment. It would be useful to know why you think you need to reboot daily. For example, if it's based on some needed dictated by the Minecraft then restarting it's service may be simpler.
That said...because i'm curious... I often see the "No need to restart the Pi" and "not necessary the reboot the Pi" to the point where people almost advice against it.... And i'm thinking, why not it only takes about 30 seconds?
Thanks for your answer, i will look into all the possibilities described here, not because i have to, but because i'll never learn anything if i just take the first option that works
