I only tried vc4-fkms-v3d when it didn't work out of the box because it worked on the RPI 4 (with a Raspbian OS from last year).

FWIW, I have a coworker that was not able to get the Display(s) working either.
because the V2's display driver relies on KMS. So if you're changing it to FKMS (which is deprecated btw) it won't work.
Thanks, I didn't know that about the V2 display. However, all the changes I made to config.txt were made while I was trying to get the V1 display working because it didn't work with the stock Raspbian OS. I eventually tried the FKMS because it worked on an RPI 4 with the V1 Display.

Finally, I thought maybe only the V2 Display is supported on the RPI 5 so I did a fresh OS install to the SD card and connected the V2 display. It didn't work on Display (DSI) Port 1 so I tried Display (DSI) port two, but it didn't work there either.

Right now I'm using an HDMI display which works fine, but I would really like to get the DSI displays working too.
