I am currently working on project to build my own desktop. For this I am using a RPI5 16GB. I would like to install an external GPU and I am following steps in this video by James Mackenzie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0z09Ddr58w
I have a practical question regarding the PCIe M.2 2280 NVME shield. Ideally I would like to set a dual hat (Geekworm X1004 Dual 2280 NVMe SSD-schield for Raspberry Pi 5). One one side I would like to have a NVME SSD card ( and boot from there ) and on the other I would connect a Sapphire PULSE RX 580 8GB GDDR5 which is powered by a 600w power supply.
Would this dual hat work on a rpi5? I think the idea to add an external gpu on the RPI5 is so great. In my case I am just not clear on how to have the NVME and the GPU sharing the same hat.
Thanks
