sorry did Not Check your overlay yet, but have you tried replacing the compatible String https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/bl ... ay.dts#L99, storing the overlay under an new Name, compiling and using it?
Yes, this is what I did in my custom overlay.
I see logs confirming that the driver is initialized successfully:

mcp251x spi0.0 can0: MCP25625 successfully initialized.
But I cannot read/write any frames via candump and cansend.
when I try to candump, I only receive the following:

Afterwards, I do not receive any frames at all.
