Shy looked shyly at the output and meowed, but the answer is wrong.

I checked, and the output was supposed to beI suspect the difficulty is that int defaults to 32 bits on the Pi B but I assumed integers were 64 bits when I translated the program into Go.

This will have to be fixed before working on the MPI code.
