If I set my Raspberry Pi 5s WLAN Country to NZ in raspi-config, it is unable to detect 5GHz wifi connections. It's still able to connect to the 2.4GHz connection on the same network. If I change the WLAN Country to US, it can see and connect to the 5GHz connection, but not the 2.4GHz connection.
Both connections are set to "New Zealand" in the router settings, and are identical in every way I can see. I'm seeing if it can detect a connection using the desktop interface and by running and - all three methods produce the same result.
