Have you rebooted the router, most router software is notoriously buggy and a regular reboot tidies things up.
I did reboot it; more than once. Once for a firmware update.

The switch I ordered arrived today so I wired up the Pi. I did an Ookla speedtest (command line version) and found that it now has bandwidth better than my wired 2019 iMac. And, so far (fingers crossed) there is no more BlueTooth or USB interference.

One funny thing happened. I forgot to change the Interface line in the watchdog.config file from WiFi to wired. I had disabled WiFi (sudo rfkill block wifi). This caused the Pi to reboot every minute or so because it didn't detect the expected WiFi interface. So, it was a race against time to disable the watchdog and fix the config file. Sometimes attention to little things matters.
