@dp11, I ask because we have two ethernet interfaces, one directly from the RPi CM4/CM5 and the other using the USB-ETH bridge LAN7500 IC.
For both ETH0 and ETH1 interfaces we will use the same RJ-45 socket RJMG2V1SLN12W5R. However, in the reference design for the LAN7500 IC, we see that the designers used a +2.5V bias voltage for the transformers in the external magnetics of the TG1G-S002NZRL.
However, in the RPI CM4IO project we see that the CT pins are only connected to GND via 100nF. Does it matter?
