Well hello to everyone as well, lol.
Ya my plan was to use 2 temp sensors incase one fails it shuts the valve and notifies, if the temp goes above a set point it shuts the valves and notifies, and valves that close after power cuts, 24volt valves, pools don't heat up in 20 minutes.. (purchased system or not if the valve fails open its open)
besides mechanical failsafes I was hoping to implement (and hoping for some input), the temps and chems have been and will continue to be monitored every operational hour (public safety).
Thanks for the info, seems to be welcoming community. " "Pay someone to do it" comically helpful. I wouldn't implement the system until its been tested (duh). this isnt really a kill someone situation, how long does it take 145f water to heat up 10,000 gallons through a tube heat exchanger? Would you sit in a uncomfortably hot pool for long? Life guards at every pool. we really think everything is not grounded? The motors that move the water are 480v and arnt anything different than you'd see in any other industry.
Happy to take on advice and criticism but lord you all act like end goal is kill people. I was asking for some starting point. This isnt a welp ok it does on and off thats it send it project. Your advice isnt killing anyone, nor would anything come back on anyone besides myself. Im comfortable enough to atleast build and test somthing. If it all works out then start implementing.
