I am aware that this question has been asked several times, I have tried a variety of solutions but none have worked for me.
I have an RPi5 running Bookworm with kernel 6.12.34-v8-16k+ #1890. I have connected the official original DSI 7" touchscreen to CAM/DISP1 using a display cable adaptor.
I am unable to get the display to rotate from landscape to portrait via the firmware.
I have tried the below combinations inside /boot/firmware/config.txt to no avail.Adding the below to /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt works but then I also have to set my apps to rotate as well.Is there anyway to get the rotation working via config.txt ?
