You may have missed that this line is part of Thagrol's "signature" block. It gets added on to the bottom of every post he makes.Knowledge, skills, & experience have value. If you expect to profit from someone's you should expect to pay for them.
I don't agree with this sentence.
A support forum is for supporting each other, not for earning money.
I love to share my knowledge, especially if somebody is a beginner.
In this case I'm the beginner, in other cases I'm the one who can share my knowledge.
I don't want to profit, only to learn.
It's a generalised statement of his position. Not aimed specifically at you.
