Troubleshooting • Re: Black screen until I plug in a keyboard

Even more bizarrely:

If I plug in a *mouse* on the black screen, it takes me to *a login screen*.
But if I plug in a *keyboard* on the black screen, it takes me to *the desktop*, no login necessary.
OOC are the mouse and keyboard wired or wireless? Often wireless mice and keyboard USB dongles can be used with either a mouse or keyboard and appear as two HID devices rather than only one. The outputs of these commands will show whether that is/was happening:
