Troubleshooting • Re: Connecting to RPi from multiple SSIDs

Thanks guys for taking the time to reply.
Unplugging the wifi extender does not make any difference. Same subnet and same router.
I need to check the firewall on the PI, I didn’t know there was a firewall on the pi, any suggestions grateful.
Not sure if the pi can connect outwards as the pi is connected via wired LAN. I would need to reconfigure and might try it later.
Yes, I can ping the pi from either SSID and also use PuTTY/ SSH to connect via both SSIDs
Windows machines on separate SSID can ping each other
I’m not sure how to check the configuration of my services, any suggestions grateful
The router is from Virgin Media, I think it is their own build, compliant with DOCSIS 3.0.
The wifi extender is from tp-link Model TL-WR841N(EU) Ver:14.0

I have since tried to VNC from my Android phone to the pi using both SSIDs, same issue, connects to the extender SSID but not the main router SSID. This rules out the Windows PCs as being the problem.
I am beginning to feel that the issue is in the pi. I just don’t know where to look!!!
