I am using the Touch Display 2 with an RPi 4B. When I shutdown the RPi, cut the power and restart it afterwards, everything works like expected. But when I do a soft reboot via SSH, the display itself is working, but the touch-functionality seems to be disabled. Only a power-cut gets it back working.
The Touch Display 2 is powered via GPIO-Header of the RPi.The same behavior occurs with two RPi and two Touch Displays.
The pi-image is bookworm and the display is configured via
/boot/firmware/cmdline.txt:
video=DSI-1:720x1280@60,rotate=27
/boot/firmware/config.txt:
[all]
dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-ili9881-7inch,swapxy,invx
~/.config/wayfire.ini:
[output:DSI-1]
mode = 720x1280@60
transform = 270
Any idea why a soft reboots seems to disable the touch functionality?
