If you want to check explicitly for the rootfs resize being in progress, you could check for "resize2fs" running (with pgrep, for instance), but you may then run into something else unexpected, like a reboot, etc., so be prepared for more "fun"It's triggered from wayfire.ini as described in thagrol's guides. Nothing special - I have tried to leave the base OS as unmolested as possible as it makes updates/support easier.You didn't state how your bash script is triggered to run at boot. Could you outline that?
For the same reason I don't see any benefit in patching it to remove the auto-resize and having to trigger it manually *if* I can just detect it's running and wait for it to finish.
