Hello all,
I am brand new to Raspberry Pi. I don't have one, but am thinking that it may be able to do what I am looking to do. I am looking to run an automotive oxygen sensor and be able to see real time data. What I am doing is purging barrels of all oxygen with nitrogen and want to be sure no (or very little) oxygen is remaining inside.
Is this something a Raspberry Pi could do for me?
Thanks!
In the absence of any more informed comment in the last 12 hours I'll offer this....
No. 'A Raspberry Pi' cannot 'do this for [you]'
It is a small general purpose computer. It is possible that it might used as a part of your project if connected to an appropriate sensor and programmed to meet your requirement.
There are a number of 'air quality' projects mentioned on the Raspberry Pi News Blog. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/archive/?q=oxygen
What are the risks to life and property if your DIY arrangement passes a barrel as 'safe' but it actually still has 'too much' oxygen remaining?
