Upgrading 32-bit desktop images should now work - I've tested here this morning - but you will need to follow slightly different instructions - in fact, these should now be used for 64-bit images as well, as they fix various other problems. So, once you have updated your apt configuration for trixie and run sudo apt update, do the following
