Sounds like you may be trying to run something intended for a RP235X or Pico 2 on your RP2040 Pico or vice-versa but maybe it's your board which is faulty.
The virtual drive which shows 'INDEX.HTM' and/or whatever won't show the '.uf2' you have uploaded, ever, so that's as expected.
As it's a custom board; check you can upload and run simple 'blink' code from the command line first.
I would recommend getting things working with a Pi before moving to Windows.
