I’m a complete novice in this, but need some help.
I want to build a device that allows me to do play different pre recorded audio at the press of a button, as well as having a button that activates a microphone that I can use to speak through the speakers.
I need to know what devices would be best (I have nothing) and how I can go about setting this up.
For extra info, this is for a model railway for my kid. He’s only 4 and we’ve been building a layout. He mentioned about platform announcement in the station and I thought it would be quite cool if we had some automated ones when he presses certain buttons, and we had the option to do custom through a mic ones when playing with it.
