Last week I saw Adafruit released their new Fruit Jam SBC https://www.adafruit.com/product/6200
As fun as the picocalc looked this looks infinitely better I've joined to wait list. I'd love to see if I can get the PT52-Lua running on this board it and somewhere someone asked if I would do a DVI version I guess the answer is now maybe, likely, hope so. What I need to figure out is how HSTX DVI works and if it's compatible with how I do VGA out. Saying that I mean is it compatible in a way I can make it work even if I need to use some SRAM to do it. As I understand HSTX vs VGA I don't need to tie up an entire core to process the scan lines I need to maintain a full video buffer. but I've seem no C coded drivers yet.
I'm looking forward to a time when I will have one of these to test with.
The onboard WiFi and extra GPIO should also be fun to play with. I've already go Lua libraries for WiFi, SPI, I²C, and GPIO so this could be something!
If anyone has thought or code links to useful libraries I'd be happy for the input.
