HATs and other add-ons • rpi 5 gpio pin extender - to use a hat with fan case

Hi,

My rpi 5 cpu gets hot under load and I need to use the case with the fan. I also need to use a hat for an e-paper display.

I am thinking of using the item linked below to extend the pins from the board above the fan in the rpi 5 case.

I'm thinking to just push this on over the gpio pins on the rpi and then putting the hat atop the extended pins protruding up though the case and above the fan.

Will item this work?
