Let me introduce HALPI2, an open-hardware boat(/automotive/industrial/agricultural/outdoors) computer based on the Raspberry Pi CM5.
HALPI2 is a Pi CM5 on a custom carrier board in a waterproof aluminum case designed for harsh conditions. Originally built for boats, but works great anywhere you need a Pi that can handle environments other than the clean indoors. Obviously great for marine applications (Signal K server, OpenCPN plotter, etc.), but also solid for industrial monitoring, remote weather stations, vehicle computing, or any Pi project where reliability and environmental protection matter, for hobbyists and businesses alike.
Key features: Pi CM5, IP65 waterproof cast aluminum enclosure, wide voltage input (10-32V DC, survives 100V spikes), supercapacitors for graceful shutdowns, NVMe SSD support, standard GPIO header, passive cooling via enclosure. Connectivity includes 4x USB 3.0 (remotely power-cyclable!), 2x HDMI, gigabit Ethernet, NMEA 2000/0183 for marine stuff (usable as generic CAN FD and RS-485), WiFi/Bluetooth with external antenna. There's an on-board RP2040 for power and system management.

Software-wise you get pre-built images (Raspberry Pi OS, OpenPlotter), smart power management with watchdog, daemon for monitoring voltages/temps, and firmware updates over I2C (distributed via an APT repo). Everything is open source!
We sold out the first batch but should have new stock in two weeks or so.
