Thanks for all advises guys.TinyCore Linux has a Pi version and is tiny.
I have run it for years 24/7.
The SD card is the problem so a smaller OS on a smaller SD card which has single level cell design.
There are some industrial rated SD cards and I have used them running Webservers made using Ultibo which makes a kernel OS under 4MB.
@Gavinmc42 , it would be nice if you give brands and part# for these SLC cards because long term stability has always be my main reluctance when it comes to running a Raspberry. I'm not aware of ReadOnly OSes.
About the OP, I reached to do the job with a remote computer + SSH that is yes ON 24/24.
