You need one cat5 cable, non-crossover (it works it out the crossover for you). Plug it in to each RPi's socket assign an IP address from (10.x.x.x/8, 172.[16-31].x.x/16 or 192.168.x.x/24) and you're connected.What do i need to connect two pis together and the commands or software need for them to work as one unit
You can also connect them with WiFi.
