Wow man !! naughty me !!! for blaming something that is not the real target, My Raspberry Pi has 8 Gigi of memory, I am sure the boot-up does not need 8 Gig of ram, (After all I used to make a emergency 286 computer non "floppy" 1.4 Meg disk about 30 years ago) why not use that as part of that 8 Gigabyte for part of the boot up. Then it will always boot up, unless you use some kind of "special command" to change the boot sequence, the last time you used it.
