"hiccups" in audio playback may be a number of things... with only 2GB of RAM, that may be the issue. Some things (like browsers) generally like (or need) more than that.
a few notes:
1) "raspian" and PI-OS are not the same. there is a "raspbian" OS , but it's not the one used by PI. I assume you are running PI-OS (Bookworm). your image looks just like my PI, i think its a good guess
to be sure, open a terminal and "cat /etc/os-release"
2) the blue arrows mean that a wired connection is active. Wifi is off, unless you turn it on.
.. as for "switching networks", if you connect the wired interface to another wired network (assuming you are set up DHCP,) it will figure it out and connect to the new wired network.
3) you can edit the connection using the "advanced" pulldown, then "edit connections" select wired, and click the gear at the bottom. all sorts of settings.
i hope you are enjoying your PI, i have a PI5 and a PI4, and a PI400. Pretty capable little machines !
