The Pi's USB ports are host only. That's probably also true of the Macbook. If the Macbook has an Ehternet Rj-45 jack, use a CAT-5 or better Ethernet cable (the Pi will figure out the protocol, so no crossover is needed), or get a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and use that. Or, both should do WiFi, so you should be able to connect them that way, though it'd be easier to connect both to a switch or router and then communicate from one to the other.Hi, I have been having trouble connecting my macbook to the raspberry pi with a Memory Stick instead of a SD card, and not using a Ethernet cable. I also am not sure what apps I can use to code the raspberry pi, or even connect the raspberry pi to my macbook.
If anyone could help that would be amazing!
