Hi - new user here...
I'm trying to use a GPIO pin to activate a "trigger" on a small LED strip controller that has a trigger input. All I need is to short that trigger to ground, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to do so, preferably using some kind of easily obtainable module with terminal wire blocks for hookup, so that I'm not having to mount components to a board of some sort.
I did purchase an optocoupler module from Amazon to try out, but all I've been able to do is switch a voltage on/off on the other side.
So... 3.3v pin needs to be able to safely short two contacts on another device.
Thanks!
